Tour Overview
Step aboard the original Dublin Ghostbus Tour and journey into the darker side of Dublin's history. Your professional actor and driver will take you through tales of ghosts, grave robbers, notorious characters and some of the city's most sinister stories.
Visit a hidden city-centre graveyard and stop at the haunted steps of St Audoen's Church in Dublin's medieval quarter, where you'll hear the stories of Darkey Kelly, and other figures from Dublin's darker past. You'll also see a demonstration of medieval torture implements, always a favourite with Ghostbus passengers!
The Ghostbus is an experience in itself. Travel through winding corridors and sinister rooms before emerging into a Victorian-style theatre on the upper deck, complete with blood-red velvet curtains. Your storytellers are experienced professional actors who bring Dublin's gruesome history to life with a mixture of storytelling, scares and dark comedy.
Discover the gruesome world of body snatching, hear the story of sinister Dublin surgeon Dr Clossey and learn about Bram Stoker and the inspiration behind Dracula, along with many more strange and macabre tales from Dublin's past.
The Dublin Ghostbus was the first Ghostbus Tour of its kind in the world. The concept has since been copied in cities around the world, but the original began right here in Dublin.
